CHEXS Administrator – Candice Cleverly

I have joined the CHEXS team with a strong personal connection to the charity’s mission. As a parent of a SEN child, I understand first-hand the challenges families can face and the importance of having the right support at the right time. Before becoming part of the team, my family actually received help from CHEXS, so I know how much of a difference the charity can make during difficult moments and periods of uncertainty. That experience continues to motivate me in my role today and shapes the way I approach my work.

I am AAT qualified and have a strong financial background which also supports me in my role. I have worked in accountancy practices and for larger commercial businesses, gaining a wide range of experience, but I am really enjoying the sense of purpose and job satisfaction I get working for CHEXS. The work life balance is also perfect and allows me to give my best both professionally and personally.

Being able to give back to the same organisation that once supported my own family is incredibly meaningful. I am passionate about helping others feel understood, empowered, and hopeful about the future, knowing first hand how valuable that support can be.
