I’m Jack Ferris, and this is a little section about myself.

I am a qualified football coach who volunteers in youth football and have done so for the past 4 years. Not only have I supported Youth grassroots football I have been lucky enough to be the Head coach of a local football camp that supports children in the half terms.

For the past 3 years I have been a Teaching Assistant and play leader in a local infant and nursery school so have followed a very similar path to my colleague Nicola. CHEXS is a company I was familiar with as they were involved in the school, I was working in supporting children. Some of the children in which I was teaching and supporting at the time so I could see the impact that CHEXS was having on them. I have gained many different experiences working alongside parents and children to support children and any additional needs that may be required to be supported.

I have been trained following the Hertfordshire’s therapeutic thinking approach formally known as “Steps” and I believe this has helped me to understand how different children cope differently to different scenarios in school and life in general.
