CHEXS TIME FOR YOU SESSIONS

An intergenerational wellbeing project for older adults and young people

Time for You is a friendly, welcoming space for older adults in our community to come together, connect, and enjoy conversation, creativity and support, all with a cup of tea and good company.

These sessions are held weekly at the Beaumont Centre in Cheshunt. Sessions include visits from young people in the CHEXS GROWTH Programme. Together, they share stories, take part in light activities, and build a sense of belonging, trust and mutual respect.

Whether you’re feeling isolated, looking to meet others, or just fancy a friendly chat, Time for You is here for you.

WHAT HAPPENS IN A SESSION

Adults attending the CHEXS Time for you sessions can expect:

  • Warm space & conversation – A friendly environment where older adults are welcomed to sit, talk and relax
  • Creative activities – Crafts, games, or seasonal projects, supported by CHEXS staff and volunteers
  • Youth interaction – Young people from the CHEXS GROWTH Programme join select sessions to chat, assist and take part in shared activities
  • Community connection – We offer signposting, check-ins, and support for those who may need a bit of extra help

Sessions are free, open to adults aged 60+, and supported by a caring and qualified team.
