Family Support Team Update
CRAFT ACTIVITY SESSIONS
The Family Support Team were busy throughout the Summer break, we held Craft Activity sessions at Cedars Park, these were enjoyed by lots of families who came along and made a variety of crafts. We were very lucky to have paint box sets donated by Freemasons, Cheshunt Lodge – all children that attended received one of these.
The start of the term has been just as busy, we are back on the school gates to meet and greet families.
We have also started workshops within all schools, the first one ‘Parenting a child with SEND’ has been well received. If you can’t attend one at your school, you are welcome to come along to another School.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to book on.
LUNCH AND LEARN
For parents and carers who are unable to attend in person, we are now holding our ‘Lunch and Learn online workshops. Watch out for these on our social media channels.
Look out for a another new parenting workshop ‘Emotionally School Based Avoidance’ – this will be rolled out in all schools after half term.
If you would like any information regarding this contact: email@example.com
Finally, please come and say hello at the parent Hub running eveny other week at the Community Room in Tesco Brookfield – just next to the Bakery section.
We would love to introduce ourselves and the services CHEXS delivers within your School.
Look out for us at the school gate, we look forward to seeing you.
Lastly, thank you to the National Lottery Community Fund for the continuation funding for our Family support services.
