Family Support Worker (Specialism Children and Young People)
35 hours per week,
Salary £19,580 to £21,580 depending on experiences and qualifications + 6% Pension Contribution
Note: (Term Time + additional week’s negotiable if preferred)
Annual Leave: 25 Days Annual Leave + 8 Public holidays

To support and work closely with children, young people and the whole family.
The main aim of this role is to enable children and young people from families experiencing multiple disadvantages to participate in a range of activities and services to help overcome barriers to attainment and social wellbeing.
These activities and services will help raise children and young people’s self-esteem, skills and aspirations while addressing confidence issues that stop them achieving their potential. This role will include working with parents’ developing their ability to communicate with their child which in turn can improve relationships and support development.
By working with and supporting families, parents/carers and partner organisations you will promote the engagement of the child’s learning, development and wellbeing and to contribute to the effective and efficient delivery of information.

Family Support Worker (Specialism Parenting)
22 hours per week for 40 weeks per year (term time plus 2 weeks)
Salary: £10,120 (FTE £22,425) Hours are negotiable + 6% Pension Contribution

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Family Support Worker (specialism parenting) to support the whole family, helping raise parents’ ability to communicate with their child which in turn can improve relationships and support development.
The main aim of this role is; by working with and supporting families, parents/carers and partner organisations you will promote the engagement of the child’s learning, development and wellbeing and to contribute to the effective and efficient delivery of information.
To support parents/carers in addressing unmet needs by removing barriers to learning, promoting positive outcomes and improving the wellbeing of families and the local community.
