Once you have found a volunteering opportunity you’re interested in and considered how it suits your interests and skills.

To help us decide where and how you might be able to help us, we would be grateful if you could complete this form and return it to us. If you are unable to complete the form or need help to do so, please contact us using the details at the end of this form.

We would like to use the information that you have provided here for the purpose of keeping you up to date with our work with children young people, their families and community members.

    Please provide details of two people who we can ask for references regarding your work, studies or voluntary experience and your stability as a volunteer with CHEXS. If you are currently in employment we will ask for a reference from your present employer. If you've previously been employed or volunteered with any other organisation, then we ask that your references come from your employment or voluntary work, or from your educational background. If you are unable to provide references from these sources, please note this and we will contact you to help identify appropriate referees.
  • Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions Order 1975)

    As a childcare charity we have a duty to protect the children, young people and families that we work with. Therefore all paid and unpaid roles are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. All convictions, both spent and unspent, must be disclosed. A criminal record does not deny people the chance to volunteer with CHEXS, except in the case of offences against children or withheld information on any offence.
