So proud and delighted to be informed that the team has won for the following Biz4Biz awards.
- Small Business of the year award
Julie and Pete attended the awards ceremony and were delighted to accept this award on behalf of the team. A fantastic achievement – being acknowledged not just as a charity, but as a small business is amazing. It’s great that the work we do supporting families and going the Xtra mile to help and support the Children & Young People that we work with has been recognised.

Charity of the Year East Award – CYP Now 2021
This fabulous award shows the incredible dedication and commitment of the CHEXS team to local families and young people during an incredibly difficult time with COVID.
Deliveries of food, laptops, school work and so much more were delivered to children and young people in our community.
It was great to watch these awards on the lead up to our AGM meeting which was scheduled for the same day.

Great to see so many businesses involved in the awards from the Borough. To have won ‘Business of The Year’ and to receive a highly commended in the ‘Excellence in People Development’ category was fantastic.

Broxbourne Youth Awards 2019
Children and Young people team member Karen has won Youth Worker of the Year Award.
Initially starting at CHEXS as a volunteer and now one of our GROWTH project team members. So proud and this is truly deserved, her energy to always go the Xtra mile does show in everything she does.
Congratulations to all the other shortlisted Youth Workers too.
